Fixed Optical Test Beds are custom built products allowing the integration of components such as calibrated fiber spans, couplers/splitters, and filters to accurately replicate fiber systems. Uses include design of active and passive components, system evaluation, system reference, and calibration.
Active Optical Simulation Systems are custom designed and built, allowing the integration of both active and passive components. Active devices such as transmitters, switches, and attenuators can be integrated with passive optical components to create entire networks in a small-form platform or enclosure. Computer controlled systems can allow automation of the system as needed.
